The service
TrackKit provides free, browser-based tools for converting, merging, simplifying and analysing route files. All processing happens on your own device; we do not receive, store or transmit your files.
Provided "as is"
TrackKit is offered without warranty of any kind, express or implied. While we test the tools carefully and run automated checks on the conversion logic, we cannot guarantee that every file — given the endless variety of devices and exports in the wild — will convert perfectly. You use the tools at your own risk.
Keep your originals
Always keep a backup of your original files. A converted or simplified file is a new copy; if a result is not what you needed, your original is your safety net. We are not liable for any loss of data or for decisions made based on the output of these tools.
Acceptable use
Use TrackKit only with files you have the right to use. Do not attempt to disrupt the site, misuse it to infringe others' rights, or represent the tools as your own service. The tools are intended for personal and reasonable individual use.
Accuracy of measurements
Distance, elevation and other statistics are computed from the points in your file and are estimates for general reference. They are not survey-grade and should not be relied upon where precise measurement matters.
Third-party content
The site displays third-party advertising. We are not responsible for the content of ads or of any external sites they link to. See the privacy policy for how advertising handles data.
Changes
We may update these terms as the site changes. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
